Six Senses Krabey Island is set on a private tropical island in southern Cambodia. Sihanouk International Airport is a 10-minute drive from the resort’s mainland jetty while limousine transfer can be made by a five-hour drive from Phnom Penh. Guests arrive at the resort’s mainland reception then make a short crossing to the island. A traditional Cambodian fisherman’s house provides the concept for the main lobby, lounge and gallery, an all-day restaurant and ice-cream parlor, plus a bar commanding sweeping Gulf of Thailand views. On the southern end of the island is the signature restaurant with a menu focused on fresh produce and seasonality. Accommodation comprises 40 private pool villas exemplifying the commitment to using sustainable materials while embracing modern technology. They feature green living roofs, pool decks, zoned air-conditioning, organic mattresses, rain-shower, deep soaking bathtubs, automated controls, satellite and streaming television plus wireless internet. The expansive Six Senses Spa incorporates a comprehensive gymnasium, rooftop yoga pavilion, meditation cave and an alchemy bar. Guest activities include land and water excursions, fishing, snorkeling, organic farm visits with cooking classes, night sky observatory and open-air cinema. The kids’ club welcomes children between four and 12 years of age.
